About Sunshine Surrogacy
Sunshine Surrogacy is an "international egg donation and surrogacy agency," established in 2014, with offices in Pasadena, California and Shanghai, China. It works with couples, single parents, gay and lesbian parents and HIV-positive intended parents, and its website is published in English, Spanish, Japanese and Traditional Chinese. The challenge
Sunshine took its surrogate applications through forms hosted on EggDonorConnect, a separate application site, apart from the rest of the agency's records.
The switch
Sunshine sent over its existing records as exported files. SurroHub's import reads any file, from spreadsheets and CRM exports to PDFs and scanned forms, and maps each one onto a full profile with its answers and photos. In its first week on SurroHub the agency brought in more than 650 surrogate records, more than 600 of them over two days.
At the same time, applicants started arriving on the agency's own branded application at sunshinesurrogacy.surrohub.io, in Sunshine's colours, and landing directly in its pipeline as full profiles.
What it runs on SurroHub
- One pipeline for every surrogate. Imported records and new applicants sit in the same five steps, Prescreening Inquiry, Initial Intake, Application Review, Screening and Approved, each with its own sub-statuses.
- Portal logins after the intake call. A surrogate receives her portal login and full application once the intake call is done, not on day one.
- Profiles with their photos. Every surrogate's photos and documents live on her profile, ready to share with intended parents.
- Contracts signed online. Agreements go out for e-signature and the signed copy files itself to the profile.
- Egg donors in the same place. The agency has added an egg donor application to SurroHub, which asks for four photos and a public social link.
The results
Three weeks after its first applicants arrived in October 2026, Sunshine runs on SurroHub:
